Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to assist with the day-to-day operations of our golf course. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager | Director of Golf with managing the golf shop, coordinating golf events and tournaments, teaching golf lessons, and providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the golf shop, including merchandising, inventory control, and sales
- Coordinate and assist with golf events and tournaments
- Teach individual and group golf lessons to golfers of all skill levels
- Assist with golf course maintenance and operations as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to our members and guests
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and etiquette
Qualifications:
- PGA/LPGA Member or Apprentice preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of golf course experience, including teaching lessons and coordinating events
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and etiquette
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
and assisting the server as needed.
